This week, the PVDA-PTB is launching its brand new application. “Our party is growing and we are seeing more and more people wanting to join us," explains Raoul Hedebouw, President of the left-wing party.

appThis new app is a way of strengthening the social wave and joining the PVDA-PTB in a simple way. "With our new app, it's even easier for people to take part in our campaigns and the social struggle," explains Raoul Hedebouw. “Ordering posters, signing a petition, signing up for all sorts of activities, watching videos, listening to podcasts, keeping up to date with the latest news... All this can be done very easily thanks to the app."

"We can see that more and more people are turning to the PTB and want to get involved in our social and hopeful alternative. And they see that it pays to act together. Just think of the pressure we managed to put on with our petition against pension privileges. We collected over 50,000 signatures and it was thanks to this grassroots pressure that pension privileges were abolished in all parliaments.”

The application is also a way for the PVDA-PTB to respond even more quickly to people's concerns. “You can chat directly with us," adds Raoul Hedebouw. “People can share their stories and testimonies about high food or energy prices, for example. We pass them on to parliaments and use them to put people's problems on the political agenda.”

“Listening to people is part of our party's DNA," says Raoul Hedebouw. "That's why our Great Survey for the forthcoming elections is another important part of the PTB app. It will enable us to gather the opinions of 100,000 people. On the app, people can answer the Survey easily and share it with their friends, family and colleagues."

For the left-wing party, the app is an important channel of communication with supporters. "It's not just about the more than 25,000 members of the party, but also all those who want to help us grow and take part in social change."
